The MPT tower is based on H30V truss and uses a sleeve block that is suitable to fit any of the 30 or 40 series trusses to all four sides by means of bolted, either male or female CCS6 couplers.  In combination with an adapter plate, it is also possible to use the sleeve block with either S36R or S36V truss.  The MPT Tower has an self-weight of 115 kg.

The MPT sleeve block is a fully bolted structural element, making it much stronger and  more precise than conventional welded versions.  The top section and base section can facilitate the use of either a hand winch or a chain hoist.

Each MPT Tower System has a Maximum height of 8m and a maximum Weight load of 1000KG. The vertical mast only complies with H30V and the horizontal sleeveblock can be adapted for X or H30D, X or H30V, X or H40D and X or H40V, S36R, S36V.

With no outdoor rink in Nottingham's market square this Christamas, the team at the NIC [which houses the Capital FM Arena and Capital One Community Rink] invited us back us to design a scheme which would temporarily transform the Capital One Rink and allow them to promote special public skating sessions with a Christmas theme -oh and the rink must still be useable by the multitude of training seesions that the rink houses, including Nottingham Panthers, Ice dance champions, Team GB Speed Skating to name a few!

This year, the plan was to increas fetsoon and moving heads....so we did!

  • Over 700m2 of custom white draping
  • 30 moving heads - including Robe MMX & Robin 600's
  • Avolites Titian Mobile / Titan One
  • 42 themed and custom gobos
  • 1.5km of festoon and 1500 LED lamps
  • 10 CM LodeStar motors
  • 280m of truss
  • A 1.2m mirror ball!

We programmed a large number of scenes to cover all the themed party nights and promotional events, and dropped it onto the in house Martin Light Jockey system to allow the client to manage playback.

Deemed and even bigger success tha 2011, here s few highlights....
