Freddie, Paddy & Willie bowl over the Trent FM Arena

An evening of comedy and cricket at this high profile venue, the event was a combination of Ashes preview and the launch of the Flintoff Foundation –a children’s charity set up by Andrew & Rachel. Willie Thorne hosted the evening with a ‘spot’ from Paddy McGuiness. The evening was rounded off with a Q&A session featuring Robert Key in the chair. He fired questions at Freddie, Graham Swann and Stuart Broad –with some interesting, and occasionally unrepeatable responses! Our production crew worked along side the fantastic team at the arena, supplying & operating - Lighting: Mac 2000’s, and generic lanterns / pars all controlled & dimmed by Avolites. Video: 8k Barcos and Audio: EV XLE -8 per side with QRX bins. Control came from the new Allen & Heath i-live. In addition we supplied rigging, trussing, stage furniture, drapes and distro. This was a new format for the venue and promoter Front Row Events, and deemed to be a genuine success by all concerned.
