Company History

Simon Taylor & Steve Yeardsley are the current owners, having worked together for several years at LiteStructures [Simon as Sales & Marketing Director and Steve as a Project Manager] they founded OneBigStar in 2005. Originally set up to service the entertainment technology and MI industries with fast response and affordable exhibition solutions, OneBigStar has grown at a steady and healthy rate, and expanded into event production, installation and sales & hire. All equipment is fully owned and operated by us.

We now operate from an 11,000 sq ft premises in Newark on Trent near Nottingham. We are 1/4 of mile off the A1 and just over an hour from Kings X station. We are fully geared to accomodate clients, with meeting and showrooms, full AV facilities and 1,500 sq ft of clear pre-production space with mother grid & rigging points.

OneBigStar primarily support business customers who want an honest and professional relationship. Some clients use us as a one stop shop, others 'dip in' to our resources to strengthen their own business. We pride ourselves on our relationships with our clients. Repeat business and growth in line with our customers is key to our ongoing success. (We will happily furnish you with references.)We work to a simple set of rules based around enjoying what we do, taking pride in doing a job well, working hard and playing hard! We recruit the best individuals we can afford and draw on a huge pool of skills and knowledge across all of our sectors. We feel well placed to pass on our experience, and do so willingly. We have daily experience of the challenges our clients face once a year!
