Company History

Simon Taylor & Steve Yeardsley are the current owners and joing directors of OneBigStar Limited, having worked together for several years at LiteStructures [Simon as Sales & Marketing Director and Steve as a Project Manager] they founded OneBigStar in 2005. Originally set up to service the entertainment technology and MI industries with fast response and affordable exhibition solutions, OneBigStar has grown at a steady and healthy rate, and expanded into live event production, experiantial & custom solutions and sales & hire. All equipment is fully owned and operated by us. We do not offer a 'dry hire' service, thus ensuring our production equipment is in the very best condition for your event.

We now operate from an 11,000 sq ft premises in Newark on Trent near Nottingham. We are 1/4 of mile off the A1 and just over an hour from Kings X station. We are fully geared to accomodate clients, with meeting and showrooms, full AV facilities and 1,500 sq ft of clear pre-production space with mother grid & rigging points.

OneBigStar specialise in delivering the very best in Technical & Creative Event Production, covering Concert, Festival, Conference, Exhibition and Experiential markets. Our clients range from creative agencies, venues and promoters through to SME's, PLC's and councils. We have a hire inventory of well maintained, high end, industry standard equipment covering Light, Sound, Video, Power, Staging & Rigging. This is coupled with our 'in-house' ability to create Custom Structures, Stage Sets and Exhibition Stands, along with pre-production and meeting facilities for client use. We pride ourselves on open and professional working relationships based around high levels of Service, Communication and Creativity. Some customers use us as a 'one stop shop', others 'dip in' to our specialist resources to strengthen their own business or project.
